A few years ago, I got what I thought was the smartest workout idea EVER and started doing what I called “Commerical Crunches.” What are those, you ask? Well, it’s simple really – pick your favorite TV show and allow yourself to watch it… but when the commercials come on, do crunches the entire time until the show resumes. These work and I love them! Plus, Commercial Crunches are great for stopping those nagging guilty feelings I sometimes get when I watch my TV shows and feel like I should really be working out instead.
Last week I was on Pinterest and I found a pin from Self Magazine on someone’s “health & fitness” board. When I followed the link I was smiling ear to ear because it was a workout that coincides with your favorite 30 minute TV show!! Basically you do strength training during the show and then do cardio during the commercials. I’ve been following this plan this week and not only do I find these workout fun and easy, but I’ve been a little sore the next day so I know I’m actually doing something! I love it, so I had to share this workout with all of you
